Job Description – Marketing and Social Media Executive

 Role:

We are currently looking to take on a Marketing and Social Media Executive. The candidate is expected to act as a brand guardian, taking ownership of marketing development. You will need to be a well-rounded marketer with an understanding of social media (LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter).

Requirements:

  • 1+ year within a marketing role or a graduate with proven relevant experience
  • Good understanding of digital marketing
  • Experience using Social Media platforms
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full driving license is desirable

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media/Digital Marketing:

  • Plan, post and streamline social media accounts
  • Maintain a social media calendar
  • Make regular social media posts on agreed B2B platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter)
  • Interact with followers on social platforms
  • Monitoring customer and prospect activity to opportunity spot and keeping Kendra Energy on the radar
  • Post ‘New Employee Starter’ posts
  • Track social media analytics

Content Creation:

  • Create graphics for social media content using Canva
  • Create new or edit existing marketing collateral
  • Follow Kendra brand guidelines that are set in place
  • Working with both print and digital

Brand Development:

  • Planning, developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Clear ownership of ongoing brand performance, research and external market trends

Case Studies:

  • Design, write and manage our case studies, ideally 1 per month. This involves interviewing any prospective clients, uncovering key outcomes and points of value, writing the case study and designing it in line with our branding and style

Website:

  • Work with our external Marketing agency to keep our website up to date and fresh. Ideally, you will carry out minor tweaks yourself, for example uploading new job vacancies and blog posts
